The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free summer enrichment program focused on improving access to information and resources for college students interested in the health professions. SHPEP offers students a variety of academic and career experiences with the goal of strengthening the academic proficiency and career development of students underrepresented in the health professions. With guidance and community, students learn how to prepare a successful application for matriculation to health professions schools.
The Massachusetts General Hospital COVID Corps Biomedical Research Internship Program 2021 is now accepting applications for students interested in a six-week research internship. The program offers a paid ($3,000 stipend) remote research and training opportunity to current undergraduate and graduate students who will continue to be enrolled in Fall 2021.
We strongly encourage students who are historically underrepresented in the biomedical research sciences or local Boston residents to apply. The full-time, six-week program will run from Monday, June 21 to Friday, July 30. Applications are due on Sunday, February 28, at 5 pm.
